Винегрет из зомби Tamsoft, пожалуй, самая плодовитая студия разработчиков из тех, что пригрелись под крылом издательства D3 Publisher. Клепая трэш в промышленных масштабах, тамсовтовцы разок таки сумели попасть в самую точку. Обдумывая концепцию очередной своей нетленки, они выбрали беспроигрышный вариант. Судите сами, можно ли спокойно пройти мимо игры, главная героиня которой – фигуристая милашка в бикини (впрочем, это самая затасканная тема бюджетной серии), ковбойских сапогах и шляпе, носящаяся с катаной наперевес по улицам наводнённого кровожадными зомби городка. При этом мертвяков милашка шинкует не хуже вашего Данте. Японцы равнодушными не остались. Честно говоря, сравнивать на полном серьёзе «Онэтянбару» с DMC я бы не стал, слишком уж разный калибр у этих проектов. Тем не менее, своим задором бюджетный слэшер едва ли уступит «взрослым» представителям жанра. А здешние боссы запросто составят конкуренцию большинству своих собратьев по ремеслу из актива общепризнанных хитов.

Поначалу может показаться, что боевая система абсолютно примитивна и, кроме терзания единственной кнопки, ничего предложить не в состоянии. Но это не так. Очень скоро понимаешь, что разработчики всё неплохо продумали. Помимо «лайфбара» на экране отображаются ещё две полоски: одна из них отвечает за состояние верного меча, другая – за чистоту самой героини (которую, кстати, зовут Айя). Во время сражения катана пачкается кровью, на лезвие налипают куски гнилого мяса, кожи и мозгов. При очередном ударе клинок рискует застрять в зомбической тушке, и пока Айя будет силиться его выдернуть, окружившие её твари немедля набросятся и изобьют до смерти. Учитывая столь неприятное обстоятельство необходимо то и дело останавливаться и резким взмахом стряхивать облепившую оружие гадость.

Хлещущая из вражин кровища забрызгивает всё вокруг, не щадя и саму героиню. Концентрацию заразной крови на её теле также отображает специальный индикатор. Как только шкала достигает предела, у бедной девчушки срывает крышу. Пока глаза застилает кровавая пелена, милашка способна рвать врагов на лоскуты и даже уничтожать всех в пределах видимости энергетической волной от меча. Подвох в том, что с каждым ударом сердца стремительно утекает и её жизнь. Обнулять полоску можно с помощью ангельских статуй, встречаемых по пути следования, а быстро заполнять – собирая красные шарики, материализующиеся на месте трупов. Пренебрегать возможностью расчистить путь единственным взмахом меча не стоит (тем более что некоторые противники только таким способом и побеждаются), ведь умирать после этого совсем не обязательно. Если рядом не оказалось стационарной «очистительной» статуи, следует воспользоваться её миниатюрной копией из личного инвентаря, а после восполнить жизнь стандартной аптечкой.
